Misty Johnson
Our friend Misty Johnson discovered her deep love of clay while pursuing her degree in art education at Kent State University. Misty skillfully throws clay at her home studio and creates wonderfully unique pieces of art. We're proud to say she allows us to share some of them with you right here at Foothills Studio. She enjoys experimenting with different shapes, textures and glaze finishes. The resulting wares range from utilitarian to decorative but each is well balanced with excellent symmetry, and hand glazed with so much wonderful color that they even make an art gallery brighter.
